Data Collection Methodology
Field Collection: Certified field analysts collect samples using calibrated equipment per IS:3025 methods. GPS at +/-3m accuracy.

Chain of Custody: Sealed containers with temperature-controlled transport to NABL laboratory within 24 hours.

Analysis: NABL-accredited partner laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025:2017). Results with measurement uncertainty.

Publication: Results published within 48-72 hours. Raw data available on request under RTI Act.
WCI Scoring Methodology and Weight Table
The Water Contamination Index (WCI) is 0-100: Sum(wi x Si) where wi is BIS-risk weight and Si is sub-index (actual/limit x 100). No-relaxation parameters carry higher weights due to irreversible health impact.
